- Hi guys, don't know what happening up there ^^^^ but as Amiga CD rom developers
- we use AMIGA + DAT + Amiback all day long EVERY day and have NEVER (Touch wood!)
- had any problems...
-
- Where you are getting your 1.2 gb storage limit from is beyond me, we make DAILY
- backups of nearly 4Gb on single DDS2 120m tapes without any of the problems you
- mentioned!
-
- Amiback (we are using 2.0i) has NEVER let us down (Touch wood) and believe me
- it has saved our lives on more than one occasion!
-
- As to tape length/storage capacity problems... Again I'm at a real loss here...
- A 60m DAT tape hols about 1.3GB, a 90m DAT tape stores 2GB and a 120 DDS2 DAT tape
- stores 4GB (16GB with hardware compression enabled) If your tapes don't hold
- what they are supposed to maybe you should check your tapes and software/hardware
- configurations!?
-
- I look forward to reading your response,
-
- Regards,
